SU! released their retiring products list from the annual catalog. Some of the items are discounted! Some things are NOT retiring, but bundled savings on stamps and dies or punches only lasts the first year. So, for example, my favorite Celebrate Sunflowers is not retiring (yay!), but getting the 10% off will be gone. Click on this picture to see all of them on my SU website:

This was a new bundle last year when the Main Catalog came out. I have no idea if it will retire this year, but I know for a fact that the bundle discount (10% off) will be gone on May 4th! The Bundle Discounts only last the first year!

The Luck of the Irish!

St. Patrick’s Day is always fun! This year, even better with Stampin’ Up! free shipping! You have a few hours left!

I made this card quickly yesterday. The hearts were die cut and then scored in the middle, inked up a bit on the score line and outside edges, and then glued to a circle. The stem was a die cut from the Christmas Cardinal dies.

I stamped the sentiment and then die cut it with the Messages dies.

Dog Friends with Reverse Stamping!

Hi from a Dog!

I made this card for a friend of mine who moved a few months ago. We all miss her- especially my dog, Maggie! The Playful stamp set and dies have a dog that looks a lot like her!

The foam adhesive sheets are amazing. You put them on your paper, die cut your images and viola! The whole image sticks out perfectly!

Blessed to Know You

Happy Monday!

I was going through some of my DSP and saw this one from the Flowers for Every Season. It is so pretty but I wasn’t sure how to use it. I had a frame I made with the Stitched Rectangles dies, and came up with an idea!

I stamped the outline of the Rose with Versamark, applied heat & stick powder, heated up, applied Gilded Leaf. I then stamped an inside stamp with Bumble Bee ink. The leaves were outside stamped with Just Jade ink, then the inside stamp with Soft Sea Foam ink.

For the “blessed”- I put it on my acrylic block and made it kinda curvy. With these kinds of stamps- photopolymer- you can do that!

Stamps: To a Wild Rose (AC)

Dies: Stitched Rectangles (AC), Wild Rose (AC), Layering Circles (AC), Stitched So Sweetly (AC)

Ink: Just Jade, Bumble Bee, Versamark, Soft Sea Foam

Paper: Just Jade, Basic White, Flowers for Every Season DSP (AC)

Extras: Gilded Leafing, Heat & Stick powder
