Saying Thanks for… well, you know!

I made this card for friends of ours, my husband’s boss and his wife. They had us over for a little while and then took us to dinner. What better stamp set than Brewed for You?

Using the Delightful Eclectic DSP, I cut it to 5-3/8″ x 4-1/8″. I then used the Basic Borders die, the one that has a peak at the top, and cut the top of my DSP.

I cut two pieces off Gray Granite paper: 5-3/8″ x 4-1/8″ and 1″ x 5-3/8″.

I die cut the “thanks” with the Alphabet a la Mode dies with Gray Granite.

With the 1″ piece and the “thanks”, I embossed with one of the Basic 3D Embossing folders.

I stamped all the glasses with Gray Granite on Basic White. Die cut them all.

The lines above the tall glasses is a stamp from Circle Sayings. I wanted it to look like the were saying “cheers”. I used a circle punch to cut them out.

Pretty easy card!

Happy Birthday with Grapefruit!

So Refreshing is a great bundle, the stamps are so pretty and the dies are awesome!

Since the stamp has fruit, I decided to make my background with the Sweet Citrus embossing folder. I used Lemon Lolly cardstock (5-3/8″ x 4-1/8″).

I stamped the pitcher and the glasses with Gray Granite. For the inside, I inked with Calypso Coral and stamped off once before stamping the inside. I wanted it to be a little lighter.

I stamped the fruit with Calypso but did not stamp off. I wanted them darker.

For the picnic blanket, I used Petal Pink and die cut. That’s what’s great about the So Refreshing dies- tons of dies that work on their own!

I stamped the sentiment on Basic White with Calypso Coral. Die cut with the Stylish Shapes dies.

I added a little bit of ribbon below the sentiment. It’s from the Sheer Ribbon pack.

Such a fun and pretty birthday card!

Celebrate USA! Happy 4th!

I always make a card for 4th of July! 🇺🇸 I used lots of fancy papers on this!

I used the Patchwork Pieces dies on two different papers:

Bright & Beautiful DSP

Textured Shimmer Paper (the white color)

Since I wanted red in there, too, I used Real Red ink and a Blending Brush on top of some of the white shimmer paper.

My background paper is Basic White embossed with the Exposed Brick Embossing Folder.

For the “USA”, I used the White Center Specialty paper (Night of Navy color) and the Alphabet a La Mode dies.

I used the same paper for the stars. Those are dies from the Beautiful Balloons. I added some Wink of Stella on top.

For the “celebrate” circle, I used the Circle Sayings Bundle with Real Red ink.

Side Step Card with Fish!

I had fun making this card! Side Step is kind of “old school” but it can work with so many stamps and dies/punches.

To the Man Who Does Everything!

This is the card I made for my husband for Father’s Day. Since I used the He’s All That stamps, you could use that for other cards- not just Father’s Day!

My card has the “Wishing you a Happy Father’s Day” sentiment on the inside. You could change it to “Happy Birthday” or anything else!

I die cut a piece of Boho Blue with the Radiating Stitches dies, then embossed it with the Twisted Rope folder. I added some linen thread, and die cut a heart (also from Radiating Stitches) to tuck behind the sentiment, which is cut with the All That Dies.

The background paper is the Let’s Go Fishing DSP.

Pretty easy card! Most man cards are like that!

Gone Fishing for a Father’s Day Card!

I made this card for my dad, so I can’t share it on Facebook until Father’s Day!

This suite can make so many man cards- birthdays, Father’s Day, retirement, encouragement, congrats, thanks etc!

This was pretty easy. I die cut the two pieces for the tackle box with Pebbled Path. The two fish are fussy cut from the DSP. I stamped and die cut the other pieces (don’t ask me what they are called- I don’t fish! 🤣) with Pebbled Path, Poppy Parade, Boho Blue, and Mossy Meadow. The hooks were die cut with the Silver Foil paper.

I stamped the sentiment with Versamark. Before stamping, I used the embossing buddy on the whole surface. Some of the powder got stuck around the edges, but I liked how it made the tackle box look. Tackle boxes are never very clean!

Triple Easel Card with the Zoo Crew! Video!

I found old instructions in my pile of instructions for an easel card. I hadn’t made one in years! With the DSP sale going on now, I thought this was a great time to show you how to do it. All three cards in my video use a lot of DSP! And they’re all on sale!

These cards will fit into a regular size envelope, but they will weigh a little more so shipping might be more.

I make this card from start to finish in the video. I made a PDF of all the measurements. Here it is- but don’t forget, you can look at all my instructions under “instructions” on the right side. Or on the bottom from a phone.

Most everything on this card is from the Zoo Crew DSP: the animals, the flower paper and the black & white paper. The Lemon Lolly striped paper is from the Bright & Beautiful DSP.

I used the Zany Zoo dies on this card: the animals, the sentiment, and the scallop edge on the top easel.

For the flower DSP, I decided to add a little more color to it. Using the white Pearlized Enamel, I put a dot in the middle of each flower. Let it dry, then colored it with my Lemon Lolly Blend.

How about a Dancing Astronaut?

Well, maybe not dancing, but on a Craft Spring (wobble) so it shakes!

Here’s a 3 second video to see what I mean:

This card was quick. I stamped the astronaut with Staz-On on the Holographic paper and die cut it.

The background was made with the Patchwork Pieces dies and Stargazing paper. I cut a piece of Tahitian Tide (5-3/8″ x 4-1/8″) and then adhered the Patchwork pieces to it. Basically, start with each corner, then add the middle ones about the same distance from each other.

The planet was die cut with the Holographic paper. The rings were cut with Tahitian Tide cardstock.

For the sentiment, I used the “Happy Birthday” from Hello Kiwi. I used my Write Marker in Blackberry bliss and just colored “appy” and “irthday”. I then die cut the “H” and the “B” from Alphabet a la Mode. Made the sentiment stand out!

I adhered all that and then put my astronaut on with the Craft Spring. Cute card!
