Sailboats with Tissue Paper & Vellum

I made this card quite a while ago. It would be a perfect birthday card for a kid or a man! The ephemera works so well for fast cards.

I will not have my Facebook Live this week. My sweet Maggie, my ten year old dog, died this Saturday. She was diagnosed with heart disease last October. She made it for 5 months. It was an awful day and has been awful since. It will get better. She was the best dog. I’ll be back soon.

Here’s the video for the tissue paper technique (that I used for the water on this card)

Here’s the video for the sky (Blends with Vellum):

A Cute Little House Circle Wreath Card!

Another circle wreath card- a different size! Don’t forget on 1/7/25 I’ll be live on FB showing how to make these wreath cards!

I stamped the home with Berry Burst first (using a Misti) then stamped again with Versamark. Makes it easier to color with Blends.

I punched several hearts with the Humble Home punch. I used Soft Sea Foam and Highland Heather cardstock and added some Wink of Stella on top.

I stamped the Sketched Plaid on the front of the card with Berry Burst.

Humble Home is not retiring! Now is the time to get it with the 10% Bundle discount!

Tissue Paper Sunset!

I had some tissue paper I had made during my last video left over and thought it would look really good as a sunset. You can see the post here, and here’s the video:

The colors used for the tissue paper:

Lemon Lime

Garden Green

Flirty Flamingo

Real Red

Lemon Lolly

Daffodil Delight

The In the Grove trees die was cut with Pecan Pie. The bunny is Pebbled Path and the squirrel is Crumb Cake.

I stamped the wolf, coyote, fox(?) with Early Espresso on Basic White. I think it’s a fox. Maybe. 🙂

The sentiment is from the Simply Said stamp set. I stamped with Pecan Pie on Basic White and die cut with Everyday Details dies.

On the bottom right corner, I used one of the Everyday Details die to show some of the background.

Tomorrow I get my preorder from the new Mini Catalog! I’ll make a video to show you all of it! Stay tuned!

Tissue Paper Mountains

I had some tissue paper leftover from the Citrus Blooms frame card I made (you can see it here) so I decided to make mountains with it!

First I colored my Basic White with Balmy Blue, Old Olive and Pecan Pie ink with Blending Brushes to start my background.

I stamped the trees twice- once on Basic White, once on Mossy Meadow. I used Mossy Meadow ink on both. Die cut. I stamped “happy birthday” from the Say Hey stamp set on top of the white/Mossy ones.

I stamped the In The Grove stamp that looks like grass with Mossy Meadow on Mossy Meadow paper. Die cut.

I die cut the mountains from the Forever Forest dies 3 times. I layered them so that the peaks would be in different places. The colors used for this are:

  • Lemon Lime Twist
  • Garden Green
  • Old Olive
  • Peach Pie
  • Cajun Craze
  • Daffodil Delight

Round We Go Birthday Card

I had fun making this very shiny sparkling card!

For the pinwheel, I used Blending Brushes on Basic White with Poppy Parade, Azure Afternoon, Daffodil Delight and Lemon Lime Twist inks. I did vertical lines with each color, overlapping. I die cut the die laying it horizontal on the vertical stripes. I die cut it twice. I tried to glue the pieces together with Tear & Tape and Stampin’ Seal+. Neither one worked for me. Humidity in the summer is bad in Florida! I ended up using my hot glue gun. That worked!

I had a die cut from the Citrus Blooms dies with Basic White. I embossed with the Eyelet 3D embossing folder.

I die cut the smaller pinwheel with the Glimmer paper- it’s an online product.

I stamped the sentiments on Basic White with Lemon Lime Twist. I die cut with Deckled Rectangles. I die cut the big banner from Stylish Shapes with the same Glimmer paper.

I went crazy with the Wink of Stella! I added it to all the background paper that shows.

Happy Friday! I hope you have a great weekend!
