I showed some of my other butterflies in my video making the 2 butterfly cards. I decided today I needed to do something with them!
The two big ones were the big die cut (the one I used as a mask on the cards yesterday). I stamped some of the Art Gallery flowers on them, then used Flirty Flamingo and Pool Party cardstock for the overlay die cuts.
The small butterfly was die cut from the Butterfly Bijou DSP (I showed that on the video, too). I die cut the overlay with White Shimmer cardstock.
The big gold leaf is from the beautiful Forever Gold Laser-Cut Speciality paper- it’s on page 152 of the main catalog.
Once again, I decided to use the Messages die for the sentiment for the front of the card. The sentiment I used is 3 lines long- so I used a Night of Navy Many Marvelous Marker to color just the first line. I stamped it on embossed paper and then die cut it. For the second two lines, I inked up with the marker and stamped it inside the card.
I got the new Butterfly Bouquet collection a few days ago. I loved it but could not come up with an idea. I die cut the big die and left it on one of my tables. Two days ago, I walked into my stamp room, so the negative die paper and came up with an idea!
I was so excited after I finished my first one- it looked like really cool background paper!
Check out my video to see how easy to make these! And look at my table after making the video! Â A little messy!!
