I wanted to make a card with a cross for Easter. Fortunately, crosses are easy to make.
Mine was cut 3/4″x 4″ and 3/4″ x 3″ with Crumb Cake cardstock. I then embossed with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder. I added some color to it using the Crumb Cake ink and the Blending Brush. I added Rustic dots on each end.
For the leaves, I used the Forever Flourishing dies with Pear Pizzazz cardstock.
The dove and the sentiment are from the Rejoice in Him stamp set. I stamped the dove with Memento Black and fussy cut him. The sentiment was stamped with Soft Suede and die cut with Stitched Rectangles.
I wanted a bit of a “hill” or something to show a ground on the card. Using one of the Greatest Journey dies with Soft Suede cardstock, it worked perfect. I tucked the cross behind it a little bit.
The background paper is the Enjoy the Journey (that works with the Greatest Journey dies and stamps). I loved that it looked like a sunset.
This card will be in my upcoming class! Check out classes to see more info:
After my crazy August and my current crazy September, I decided to come up with some options on my classes.
I ABSOLUTELY love having classes. I have met so many new people, it’s so fun to hang out to make cards and talk about anything!
With new people, or even some who have been doing this a while, I thought having a video making all the cards would be helpful! I know making cards in a fast time can sometimes make you forget how we did a certain thing.
Also, I thought I could make the video for people who can’t come, but would still like to see the video.
The date that works for me (for the actual class) is 9/16/21, Thursday, at 6pm. If that works for you, let me know you’re coming! If you really want to come and that date doesn’t work for you, let me know what does!
Here are my options for the class:
I don’t have prices on this because it could change for different classes. Here are the prices for this class:
$20 for the class, video for free.
$5 for video, no supplies provided.
Place a $100 order or more by 9/30/21, get video for free. Â (if your order is less than $150, please use my host code!).
Buy the completed cards for $28, you’ll get the video for free.
Down below is all the supplies I used for these four cards. There’s lots of SAB products that are only available until 9/30!
Now, don’t worry! I will still make tons of videos that are free and available to everyone! This is just for classes.
To pay me, here’s my Venmo. Be sure to let me know what email you have connected to YouTube.
My two youngest kids have been involved with a running club for the last few years. My dad found out about it when my middle son was in 7th grade (the club is for elementary and middle school aged kids) and it was really helpful in making him better and understanding running long distances. My youngest kid is involved with it now and my husband and I just couldn’t find anything better. It’s an awesome club.
The head coach’s wife loved a card I made for them and wanted to know if we could have a “craft event” for the girls. What I came up with was making something they could hang in there room. It had the club logo, lots of team pictures and their names made with the Playful Alphabet dies. It also had tons of flowers from the Pierced Blooms dies. I die cut everything for the girls and they made their own however they wanted it to look! Everyone’s was different!
I’ve done things like this before and I love doing it!! If you have a group of kids that would like to make something crafty, reach out to me!
I just scheduled my next two classes- each one has three different dates to choose from. Click on “classes” above, or if you’re on your phone- select “classes” from the menu. I’ve also posted them on Facebook. I need to know no later than a week from the class.
