Rays of Light with Gilded Leafing! VIDEO!

I got the new stamp sets Rays of Light and Big Hooray a few weeks ago. I love them both! I’ve used both on several cards. I decided I wanted a card that showed the Rays of Light in full. Then I had an idea- make those rays really stand out!

Here’s my video on how I made this card!

Here’s everything I used:

Product List

Gilded Leafing with Embossing Folders!

I don’t usually make shabby chic cards, but once in a while I do. I love them!

This video will show you how I made these:

There are a few items on these cards that are going bye-bye! For the gold hoops, better gets those now before they sell out!

Holler if you have any questions!

Hi There from a Sunflower!

Man, that Gilded Leafing is ah-mazing. I will have a video using it hopefully by tomorrow.

The Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set and matching dies is one of my favorites. I’ve used it for so many cards- happy ones and sympathy ones, too.

Blessed to Know You

Happy Monday!

I was going through some of my DSP and saw this one from the Flowers for Every Season. It is so pretty but I wasn’t sure how to use it. I had a frame I made with the Stitched Rectangles dies, and came up with an idea!

I stamped the outline of the Rose with Versamark, applied heat & stick powder, heated up, applied Gilded Leaf. I then stamped an inside stamp with Bumble Bee ink. The leaves were outside stamped with Just Jade ink, then the inside stamp with Soft Sea Foam ink.

For the “blessed”- I put it on my acrylic block and made it kinda curvy. With these kinds of stamps- photopolymer- you can do that!
