Happy Birthday, USA! (not a card!) Facebook Live 7/1/25

It was fun to make this 4 times! I made three yesterday and one today during Live. Amazingly, the best one was the one today!

It’s really hard to get a good picture of this, but during the video you can see it better:

Here’s the measurements:

Thick Basic White: 4-7/8″ x 6-7/8″

Night of Navy: 5″ x 7″

You will need 6 pieces of Mask Paper- all 3/8″ x 7″

  • Layer on the Basic White with 3/8″ in between all. 3/8″ from the top and bottom, too. (You want red on the top and bottom)
  • You will also need either Mask Paper or cardstock to cover the top left (for the stars). The size is 2-5/8″ x 2-1/4″.

Classic Wedding Stamps & Dies for Two Non-Wedding Cards! It’s Retiring and On Sale!

Ok, these two cards have lots of retiring stuff on them. Some of the products are already gone. Sorry about that! But, the main product is the Classic Wedding stamps and dies. They are on sale- so if you plan to get them, buy them individually NOT as a bundle. It’s cheaper that way!

Both cards are the “Double Fold” technique. You can find the PDF instructions under “Instructions”. The first card is the first size on the PDF, the second one is the second size.

This one uses two different sets of Ephemera. One is staying (Saying Something), one is leaving (Something for Everything). If you like the suitcases and the cactus, those are leaving!

This one has a ton of retired products. The trees and the Crumb Cake mountain is Forever Forest, which is gone. I do have one on eBay! The other mountains are the In the Grove stamps and dies. Right now, only the dies are available. I will put mine on eBay when the dies are sold out. But, you may have other stamps and dies that are trees and mountains so you could make a card that looks very similar.

Happy Good Friday!

I made this card yesterday after realizing Easter is THIS weekend! I had this idea in my head for a while and I finally made it. I googled for pictures of all three crosses, so I based this card on one I saw.

This is the Double Fold type of card. I have instructions for it under “instructions” on the top menu.

One product used on this card is not available for everyone yet. It’s called Scenic Adventure. It’s an online product. I used the dies for the hill (mountain) and the bushes (grass) on the bottom.

I first colored the front pieces with Blending Brushes. For the bottom, I used Early Espresso. For the top I used Daffodil Delight and Smoky Slate.

After I die cut the hill/mountain (on the bottom portion of the card base), I thought it would look cool to have another hill behind it. I die cut a small piece and glued behind the hill/mountain on the card base.

The crosses were die cut with Pecan Pie. Jesus’ cross is Basic White with a Pecan Pie overlay.

The sentiment is from the Faith Collection. I stamped “He is Risen” and the “rays” with Versamark and embossed with gold embossing powder. I die cut with the Stylish Shapes.

Happy Easter, y’all!
