A Yeti with a Beer! Perfect Partners VIDEO!

I came up with this idea as I was falling asleep. I know many people who would love a Yeti with a beer!

I made a video showing how I made the small window and how I made the beer foam:

For the window, since I wanted it shorter than the die, I cut a piece of Early Espresso 2-1/2″ tall x 3″ wide. I wanted the window to be about 2-1/2″ tall. When you want to change the height of the window, cut your cardstock to how tall you want it. Then die cut like I show in the video above or my video of making the window into doors seen here:

Here’s everything I used for this fun card! Only three days left to get the Perfect Partners stuff!

Perfect Partners: Neon Yeti and a Strong Yeti!

I made these two cards in about 10 minutes. I think they would be great for teenage boys! Encouragement and guitars! Cards that are easy to make and fast are IMPORTANT! Everyone has had a time where they need in a card in 5 minutes. Here’s two of them!

For the neon, I stamped him in Parakeet Party ink on Parakeet Party paper. For the guitar (made with the Rugged Icon dies- those are GREAT for man cards), I die cut it twice. It makes just the outline of the guitar. So for the outline, I used Basic Black. I then die cut again with Tahitian Tide paper. All the pieces that fall out, I glued inside the black. Pretty cool looking!

For the encouragement card, I again used the Rugged Icons dies. Did the same thing I did with guitar- cut it twice and fill in some of the parts. I used black and Sahara Sand.

The arrow and the saying are from the He’s the Man DSP. It comes with two sheets of die-cuts. I’ve used it on other cards. Some really cool stuff there.

Perfect Partners: An Apple Thanks

Just one week left for the Perfect Partners! I still have about 10 cards to show y’all, so check back often! If you click subscribe on the top or right, you’ll get an email when I post something. A lot of the time, the email won’t show you the video if the post has one, but you click the link on the bottom of the post to see it online. Remember my offer:

Ok, I have now made many cards with the Apple Harvest, and I have done red, green and yellow apples. That was one of my goals!

If you saw my post with the yellow apples, you saw that I had a frame, made with the Fabulous Frames dies, that was the beautiful Glimmer paper (in the mini). For this card, I used the negative piece from that die cut to put behind my apples, leaves and flowers. Here’s that post:

Apples for a Friend

For the apples, I used Granny Blends and then added a little bit of Crumb Cake on the cut apple. I then used the Color Lifter Blend to soften it.

For the leaves, I used So Saffron.

For the flowers, I first used the Light Blend (L900) and then used the light Petal Pink.

The sentiment is part of the Apple Harvest stamp set. I stamped with Granny ink and then die cut it with the Stylish Shapes dies.

All the dies on the card, except the square, are from the Apple Harvest dies. There are so many in that set! I’ll be sad when it’s gone!

Perfect Partners: Pig on a Hill in a Bike!

I wanted to make my pig ride by on hill with water nearby. So, here’s what I came up with! 😂

I used lots of dies on this card. Obviously the Birthday Piggy dies (only 10 days left to get it!). I also used the Waterfall Canyon dies (again, only 10 more days) for the grass, the Basic Borders for the water, and the Gingerbread House for the hills.

I first used my Blending Brushes with Balmy Blue for the sky and Bermuda Bay for the water.

I added the Embossing paste on the water like I’ve done in many cards, but I also used the Paste for clouds. What I did was die cut two clouds from the Waves Dies, then used that a stencil with the Paste. ⬇️

These pigs are so dang cute! Here’s the video on how I make the ocean:

Perfect Partners: Apples for a Friend

I wanted to make a fancy card with the apples. I colored them with Daffodil, trying to make them look like yellow apples, but they kinda look like lemons! Either way works for a friend card.

The Fabulous Frames dies are one of my favorites. I’ve used it on many cards. For this one, I used it with the Glimmer paper that’s in the mini catalog. The paper is so pretty- three colors: Vanilla, Evening Evergreen and Gold. You could make some really fancy cards with this!

After I colored the apples and leaves, I put Wink of Stella on all them. A very sparkly card!

Perfect Partners: Waterfall with Mountains!

I showed this card in my video about the Perfect Partners. Don’t forget my really good deal!

This card was fun to make, but it took a little bit of time.

The Waterfall dies are awesome- there is a ton! I die cut everything on this card.

I wanted to make mountains behind the waterfall and the Mountain Air is perfect for that!

Perfect Partners: Pigs in Love!

I do make some reverse stamping and die cutting a few times. For this one, I just thought it would so cute if they were facing each other.

The first thing I did was make the background with Blending Brushes and Balmy Blue and Granny Apple Green inks.

The tree between them is from the Happy Hedgehogs stamp set. I colored with Blends.

I used one of the sentiments from the Christmas Scottie stamp set. Like I said, it looks like they’re in love!

Here’s my quick video on how to reverse stamp:

The cute little bird die in the piggy dies- I wanted to make it look like the birds were flying the banner.

The background paper is the Kraft Paper. I embossed it with the Fern Embossing Folder.

Perfect Partners: Apple Harvest- How to Make Paper Look Like Notebook Paper! Video

When I look at apples, I think of teachers. So when the dies came out (only here until 9/30), I knew I wanted to make a thank you card that would be great for a teacher! And using the die from the Blossoming Happiness dies, I knew I had to make one of the backgrounds look like notebook paper!

Here’s my video on how I made the notebook paper:

Perfect Partners! Making a Gold Background with Masks!

The masks that are on page 128 of the AC can be used in so many ways. SU has had masks for several years, and I always buy them. And never use them. So, I made a goal for myself to use these!

I had the Glimmer Speciality Paper sitting around (on page 31 of the mini catalog) and knew I could make some really fancy trees with the Trimming the Tree dies (only available this month!!).

I thought it would be cool to open a card and see those fancy trees. So, I decided that I wanted to make a gate card and use my Low Profile Velcro to keep it closed.

Here’s a link to a different size of the Low Profile Velcro I used (the size I used isn’t available now):

Velcro Low Profile

I thought of what to have on the outside of the card. Tried a few things and didn’t like it. Then I knew I could make something really metallic with the masks and gold embossing powder.

This card has lots of fancy papers on it! Pearlescent, glimmer, and embossed cardstock!

Here’s the full video of me making this card:

And here’s my short one!
