Happy Easter from 2 Cute Bunnies!

As I went through my Easter cards to share, I found this one. It has a lot from SAB so I have to share today!

I stamped the two bunnies with Memento and then fussy cut. I colored them with Smoky Slate, Crumb Cake and Petal Pink Blends.

The background paper is from SAB- Sunny Days.

The grass is from the SAB Jungle Pals dies. Shaded Spruce used.

The sun is from the Hey Chuck dies. I used Basic White then added some color with a Blending Brush and Crushed Curry ink.

The sentiment and the flowers are from the Easter Bunny stamp set. I stamped the sentiment with Pool Party and the flowers with Memento. I colored them with Petal Pink, Pool Party and Shaded Spruce Blends. Die cut with the Everyday Details dies.

Don’t forget I have a really good deal for SAB! It ends today! You can see more info on this post.

I Adore You

Lots of die cutting on this card!

First, I die cut the Deckled Circles dies on the Real Red in the bottom right hand corner.

Then, using my brayer, I added Versamark to the Adoring Hearts Hybrid Folder. I then embossed the Real Red. I added gold embossing powder and heat set.

I die cut the layover hearts with the dies using the Most Adored DSP(gold streaks). On Adhesive Sheets! I placed them on top of each heart, cutting off what hung over the outside edge or the circle edge.

I placed a piece of the same DSP behind the circle.

I stamped the sentiment with Versamark on Basic White. Gold embossing powder, heat set and die cut with the Stylish Shapes dies.

I die cut a big heart and two small hearts using the Most Adored DSP (polka dot).

Measurements:

Basic White 4-1/4″ x 11″ Scored at 5-1/2″

Real Red 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″

Happy Birthday with Paint Brushes! NEW PDF!

I bought the Trusty Tools Bundle right away.  I sell cards at events and the #1 thing I’m asked “do you have cards for men?” Man cards aren’t as fancy and sparkly or honestly, even as fun to make, but stamps and dies like this make it easy. Another bonus thing? SAB has a DSP that coordinates with this bundle! Great paper!

For this card, I die cut the big paint brushes from the DSP and fussy cut the smaller ones.

I die cut the piece of Gray Granite twice with the Trusty Tools die- the one that looks like a pegboard.

For the Crushed Curry behind the pegboard, I took a pair of scissors around the edges to give it some “frayed” edges.

“Happy Birthday” is from Hello Kiwi. I honestly think every stamp set should have a “Happy Birthday”! I die cut it and the layer behind it with the Everyday Details dies.

I stamped the paint edge on the bottom of the Basic White to match the paint brushes. Crushed Curry and Lost Lagoon. I then embossed the paper with the Painted Texture folder.

I didn’t want to use brads on the paint brushes- I wanted my card to be pretty flat. So, I used the Monkey punch for the circles and glued those on the paint brush handles.

No Dimensionals on this card!

Measurements:

Lost Lagoon 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″

Basic White 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″

Crushed Curry 4-1/8″ x 1-3/4″

Gray Granite 4-1/8″ x 1-1/2″

Scraps of Basic White

Scraps of Lost Lagoon

Trusty Toolbox DSP (for the paint brushes)

I Love U Until the End of Time!

The Most Adored DSP is one of the best paper I’ve ever seen. It makes a simple card really stand out! It’s only available through SAB- which ends on 2/29! 25 more days!

I die cut the Hybrid Folder (with the die) with the gold/white sheet of the DSP for the hearts.

I die cut the Mini Alphabet with Real Red cardstock.

I die cut the vine from the Jungle Pals dies with gold foil. Who knew those dies could be used on a romantic card?

I die cut one of the individual Adoring Hearts dies for the big heart and another die for the small hearts (at the bottom with the sentiment). All Gold Foil.

The sentiment comes from the Time Together stamp set. It actually says “I love you until the end of time!” but since I already had “I Love U”, I just inked up the “until the end of time!”. I had die cut the banner from the Adoring Hearts dies with Basic White, so I stamped on top of that with Real Red.

For the frame, I cut my 8-3/8″ x 3-3/8″ Basic White in the middle- leaving 1/4″ on each side.

Measurements:

Real Red 8-1/2″ x 7″ scored at 3-1/2″

Most Adored DSP 8-3/8″ x 3-3/8″

Basic White 8-3/8″ x 3-3/8″

Most Adored DSP (gold/white) for the Hearts

Scraps of Gold Foil (on adhesive sheets!) for the hearts and the vines

Scraps of Basic White

Valentine’s Day is close! Don’t forget I have a PDF Tutorial for 4 cards using the Adoring Hearts! You can see it here!

Love You with Adoring Hearts!

This card was fun and pretty easy to make!

I die cut and embossed with the Adoring Hearts Hybrid Folder with Crumb Cake.

I put the Most Adored DSP behind it.

I die cut some of the overlay hearts with Real Red on Adhesive Sheets. I put those on the hearts.

For the “love you” I used the Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Folder. I added Versamark on logo side with the Brayer. Die cut, added gold embossing powder, heat. Beautiful! You can see my video on the brayer here:

I have a PDF of 4 cards with the Adoring Hearts! I won’t share them anywhere else. You can see it Here!

I have many more that I will share soon!

Happy Day with a Tiger and a Brayer Video!

How cute is this white tiger? I love white tigers- they are so beautiful!

I stamped the tiger with Versamark on Basic White and embossed him with silver embossing powder.

The circle behind the tiger is one of the new dies, the Everyday Details dies. Page 28 of the mini.

I embossed with the Cheery Patterns Embossing folders. When I made the card, the Cheery was still available. It’s not anymore. Sorry about that, but lots of embossing folders would work!

I stamped “happy birthday” from the Beach Days stamp set on the inside.

The “Oh Happy Day!” is from the Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder (page 18). Using a brayer, I put some Versamark on the folder, die cut and then added silver embossing powder and heat set.

For the background, I did the same thing. I added Versamark to the logo side, embossed and then added silver embossing powder.

I decided to see what it would look like if I put the Versamark on the non-logo side. ↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓

So, here they are side by side. Totally different!

Here’s my video showing how to use that AWESOME brayer!

Measurements:

Basic White 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″

Pop & Twist Cards! Two Sizes!

I saw the Pop & Twist (or Pop & Fold) technique years ago, and saw it again recently. I love it!

After making a vertical card, I decided I wanted to make a horizontal one. I had to figure out the dimensions and thought I’d make a video of how to do it!

I show how to do both in this video.

This card shown is just one of the four I show in the video. I’ll share the others soon!

I also did a short video:

I first stamped the Rays of Light on Basic White with So Saffron ink. I stamped the tree branch (from the Perched In a Tree stamp set and Aspen Tree Dies) with Early Espresso. I used one of my water painters to bleed the ink a little.

The leaves is one of the dies from Aspen Tree dies. I used the In Color Glimmer paper.

For the inside, I used the kite die from the Playing in the Rain dies. The letters are from the A la Mode dies.

To see my PDFs of instructions (it’s two pages- one for vertical, one for horizontal), here you go (click on it to see both pages). They will also be under my instructions:
