I had to get this suite- Zoo Crew- the stamps and the DSP are so dang adorable. GREAT for kid cards!
For this card, I die cut the raccoons from the DSP. Each piece of the DSP has animals on one side of it. There is the same raccoon in the stamps, so there’s a die that cuts it. For the elephant, it is just in the paper- there is not a stamp of him. He was pretty easy to fussy cut. There are tons of different animals on the DSP. Some are die cuttable, some not. They are all cute!
In the paper, some of the animals are not colored- just the things they hold are colored. So, I used my blends to color the rest of them. I used Gray Granite on the elephant, and the new Pecan Pie for the raccoons.
The background was made with the Dots & Spots dies and the NEW Lemon Lolly and Lemon Lime Twist cardstock. I absolutely LOVE the Lemon Lolly.
I used the Basic Borders dies with Crumb Cake to make a little hill for the animals to stand on. I then embossed it with the Painted Texture embossing folder.
The ribbon on the bottom is also from the Zoo Crew suite.
The sentiment is from the Zany Zoo stamp set. I stamped with Lemon Lime Twist ink and die cut with one of the Zany Zoo dies. I then stamped the confetti (part of the Zany Zoo) with Memento and colored with Blends: Lemon Lolly, Lemon Lime Twist and Pool Party.
So, this card uses everything that comes with the Zoo Crew suite! Check back on 5/2/23 for full list of supplies used.
