Double Fold Halloween Card!

My Merriest Trees double fold card seems to be very popular right now, so I decided to make a Halloween one! You can see the Merriest Trees post here.

You can find the instructions for the double fold card in my instructions. It’s on the right side from a computer, or on the bottom from a phone. I have a video too (making the Merriest Trees one):

Here’s the card opening, the inside and the back.

And here’s a short video showing it all!

If you’re wondering how I made that background, watch me on Facebook Live next week! Tuesday, 10/29 at noon Eastern. I’ll show lots of cards with that technique!

Halloween Side Step Card

I made this card in last week’s FB Live. Facebook can be so frustrating, and right now my live is not viewable. Have no idea what happened, but chances are it will never be viewable. Still thinking about my live this week.

Side step cards are fun and pretty easy to make. I have instructions for this type of card-  you can see it under “instructions”. That’s on the right side from a computer or on the bottom from a phone.

Halloween Cascading Card I made on FB Live Last Night!

OK, that Live was a little better. Although I did hit mute accidentally at the end. Another lesson learned!

The video can be seen on Facebook or YouTube. Here’s my original Cascading video:

Toil & Trouble with Tissue Paper

This card has the tissue paper technique for the background. You can see my video here:

I used Basic Gray and Gorgeous Grape ink on it. Instead of using Basic White behind the tissue paper, I used Basic Gray. I added some dots with the Pearlized Enamel Effects in black. They’re hard to see, but they are there!

For the pinwheel, I colored a piece of Basic White with Pumpkin Pie and Gorgeous Grape with a Blending Brush. I die cut the pinwheel, then added rubbing alcohol and Memento refill to a spritzer and spritzed on top of the pinwheel. I die cut the broom with the same paper, but did not add black to it.

The center of the pinwheel was die cut from the tissue paper.

For the sentiment, I just wanted part of it. I inked up just “toil & trouble” and fussy cut it.

I added the Basic Black frame using the Deckled Rectangles dies.

Next week’s FB Live will be a Halloween card!

My PDF Tutorial for 4 cards I won’t share anywhere for Potions & Spells can be seen here.

Happy Halloween with a Moon

I had a leftover Basic Black Deckled Rectangle die cut laying on my desk and I thought a scene with the moon on it would be a good Halloween card.

I stamped the moon (Under the Moon), stars and sentiment (Potions & Spells) with Versamark and embossed with white powder. I added some iridescent foil gems. I stamped the bird with Memento on Basic White and colored with Basic Black and Pumpkin Pie blends.

For the background, I used Blending Brushes with Pumpkin Pie and Gorgeous Grape ink.

I have a PDF Tutorial for Potions & Spells! 4 cards I won’t share anywhere else. You can see it here.

Don’t forget I go live tonight on Facebook! 7pm Eastern time!

Lots of Glitter Paper Halloween Card!

I LOVE glitter paper! I used quite a bit on this card.

For the background, I used Gorgeous Grape and Pumpkin Pie ink with a Blending Brush and Glycerin! I’ll have a video on that soon. It makes the ink go on so smoothly!

For the frame, I used the Deckled Rectangles dies with the 2024-2026 In Color Glimmer paper. I used the Peach Pie.

For the “potion” drips and pour, I used the Three Color Glimmer paper.

I stamped the cauldron on the Textured Metallic paper with Staz-on Ink. Die cut. The bottle was also die cut with the Textured Metallic.

I stamped the bird on Basic White with Memento. I colored him with Peach Pie and Smoky Slate.

Sentiment was stamped with Highland Heather. I fussy cut into a rectangle.

Don’t forget I have a PDF Tutorial for Potions & Spells! You can see it here and you can see all my PDF Tutorials here! I have a ton!

No Halloween Paper? Here’s an Idea!

So, this year (so far), no Halloween paper. So, I have several cards where I made the background with ink or used another paper to make it look like Halloween!

This is one of them!

For the background, I used the Naturally Gilded paper. The white one with silver trees. I used my brayer and Memento ink to color the white part. The silver trees stay silver! Just go over the paper with a paper towel to take off any ink that’s on top of the tree.

I stamped the cat with Versamark on Basic Black. Heat with silver embossing powder, die cut.

The broom is Silver Foil and Basic Black.

For the “BOO”, I die cut the letters with the Mini Alphabet dies and the Berry Burst, Old Olive & White Glimmer paper. I used the white. With a spritzer, I added rubbing alcohol and a few drops of Memento Ink Refill. Spritzed on top of the letters, let dry.

Don’t forget I have a PDF Tutorial for Potions & Spells! You can see it here!

Potions & Spells 3 Brooms! New PDF!

This is a really cute set! I have made tons of cards- I will share most. But I have new PDF that has 4 cards I won’t share anywhere!

Potions & Spells PDF Tutorial

For the background, I used my Blending Brushes with Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather and Fresh Freesia. I then stamped the Drizzling Dots on top with Versamark. I added black embossing powder, heat.

For the brooms, I die cut two with the white glimmer paper. I added some rubbing alcohol to a Spritzer and then added a few drops of the Memento refill. Shake it, then sprayed it on top of the brooms. Let it dry.

The middle broom is with the Highland Heather glimmer.

I die cut the broom handles with Basic Black. Glue behind the brooms and then added some black Baker’s Twine.

For the top, I die cut four of the potion spillage with Basic Black. I added a TON of Wink of Stella on top.

I stamped the sentiment on Fresh Freesia with Memento. I die cut with the Stylish Shapes. I added some Purple Fine Shimmer Gems on each side.
