Santa by a Forest!

Another Christmas card with the Stargazing DSP! I love that stuff!

The Santa is from the Traditions of St. Nick DSP, which of right now, is still available.

I stamped the Forest Forever trees with Mossy Meadow ink on Mossy Meadow paper. Die cut.

I die cut a hill with the Basic Borders dies.

I stamped the sentiment (it has a “with” before Joy, Peace & Love, but I didn’t want that so I just inked up the words I wanted) with Mossy Meadow on Basic White. I just hand cut it into a rectangle.

I added Festive Pearls on the trees.

Here’s the measurements:

Basic White 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″

Mossy Meadow 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″

Stargazing DSp 4″ x 5-1/4″

Mossy Meadow 4″ x 2″ (for the hill)

Scraps of Basic White

I have 4 more cards using Saint Nicholas- but I won’t share them anywhere! It’s a PDF that has pictures, measurements, all products used, and step by step instructions. You can see it here!

Santa with some Very Shiny Paper! A Card and a Framed Project!

This card was so easy but so fun and so beautiful when I was done! Gotta love Specialty Designer Series Paper!

I used the Snowflake Magic DSP for the background, and the hills. I used the Silver Foil for the trees, and the Traditions of St. Nick for the Santa (using the Saint Nicholas dies). This card is mostly paper!

The sentiment is from the Saint Nicholas stamp set. I stamped with Lost Lagoon on Basic White and then die cut with the Stylish Shapes. Card done!

And… I made a framed image that could be displayed during the Holiday season! Pretty much the same but no sentiment and a frame around the edges done with then Snowflake Magic DSP. This is a 8″ x 10″ frame.

Here’s the measurements for both projects:

Card:

Basic White 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″

Lost Lagoon 5-3/8″ x 4-1/8″

Snowflake Magic DSP 5-1/4″ x 4″ (background)

Scraps of Snowflake Magic DSP (hills)

Scraps of Silver Foil (trees)

St. Nick with some Petal Patterns Dies!

This is a bigger card- 5″ x 5″. I wanted to use the whole Petal Patterns die cuts and I thought with that big Santa, it worked! Using Real Red and Very Vanilla, they look like poinsettias!

The Santa is from the Traditions of St. Nick DSP. I die cut him with the St. Nick dies. The green paper behind the Petal Patterns dies is also the Traditions of St. Nick DSP.

For the Rhinestones, I colored the small ones with the Real Red Blends, and the big ones with the Mossy Meadow Blends. I put the big ones on top of the hollow center of the Petal Patterns top layer. The small ones on the solid center.

Here’s the measurements for the card:

Very Vanilla 5″ x 10″ scored at 5″

Traditions of St. Nick DSP 5″ x 4″

Real Red and Vanilla for the Petal Patterns dies  5″ x 5″

Scraps of Very Vanilla for the sentiment, which is from the Joy to You stamp set.

Don’t forget! I have PDF Tutorial for the Saint Nicholas! 4 cards I won’t share anywhere else! You can see it Here!

Santa on a Roof! Video and a New PDF Tutorial!

I had so much fun making this card. It’s such a classic Christmas scene.

Stargazing DSP for a Christmas Card! You can use that DSP for so many things.

As I started, I wanted Santa on a roof. Basic Borders was perfect for that. But, I wanted the roof to have a little bit more. There’s a die in the Saint Nicholas die that worked!

Here’s my video to show how I did this- it also shows the cards in my PDF Tutorial for Saint Nicholas!

You can see the PDF  here!
