Silver Blooms

I made this card for a friend of mine. I met her this school year, her son plays football with my youngest son. She is awesome! She takes the kids to places all the time- Scream-a-Geddon, Sunwest Park for wake boarding and knee boarding, birthday parties, etc.! If you’re not in the Tampa area- look up those things! We have some awesome things to do around here!

I made this card pretty fast. Using the Blossoms in Bloom stamp set, I used Sponge Daubers to ink it up using Pool Party, Coastal Cabana, and Bermuda Bay. I stamped it on Basic White cardstock.

I die cut the matching dies with the AMAZING Silver Foil Specialty Paper (it’s on page 23 in the mini catalog). I fussy cut the leaves off. Before I did this, I actually die cut the die with Basic White cardstock and put Versamark all over it and then added silver embossing powder. It looked great, but I messed up the die cut unintentionally later. I kept that one and used it on another card- I’ll show you that in a few days.

For the sentiment, I used the stamp set Biggest Wishes. I stamped with Versamark, embossed with silver embossing powder and then die cut it with one of the Stitched So Sweetly dies.

Easy card!
