I made Father’s Day cards for my dad and my husband. Both very different!
First, my dad’s:
My dad is a big fisherman so when the new Rugged dies came out, I got them just for that fishing pole!
I stamped the wave with Pacific Point on Basic White paper. I then used a Sponge Dauber with Tahitian Tide ink to add more color to it. I then fussy cut it. Using one of the overlay dies, I used Linen paper and put that on top.
I stamped the Rays of Light with Daffodil Delight and then glued the wave on top.
I stamped the dock pilings with Crumb Cake. I die cut it, and then cut off the pelican. I know, so mean.
I die cut the fishing pole with Basic White. I colored it with Blends.

OK, now my husband’s:
I made this card in about 5 minutes.
The He’s the Man Specialty paper is awesome. It comes with two sheets of die cuts. I used several on this card- the grill, the hammer and wrench, the stars, the “My Man”, the arrows and the lined paper behind most of the die cuts.
I used a sheet of the regular paper from He’s the Man and die cut it with Deckled Rectangles.
I used the All That dies with Basic Black paper for the argyles that are on two corners. Easy peasy!
