Spring is Everywhere!

Playing in the Rain can be used for lots of cards- even a spring/Easter one!

We made this card in my last class. Isn’t that bunny so cute and looks so happy?

I stamped the bunny and the flowers with Memento. The bunny was colored with Pool Party and Petal Pink Blends. The flowers were colored with Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green Blends. The center of the flowers were colored with the Mango Melody Write Marker.

The tree stump was die cut with Sahara Sand cardstock.

I decided to use the Rain or Shine DSP for my background. The Mango Melody flowers are so bright and cheerful. It looked to be too much as I started to assemble, so I decided to use the Split Card Textures dies with Basic White to tone it down a bit. I then embossed the paper with the Raindrops Embossing Folder. I added Wink of Stella to all the raindrops.

The sentiment is from the Friendly Gnomes stamp set. I stamped with Mango Melody ink on Basic White and then punched out with the 1-3/4″ circle punch.

Behind the circle, I die cut one of the Stylish Shapes dies with Pool Party cardstock.

I added a Glossy Dot and a bow made with the Baker’s Twine to the circle.

The cards looks like it has a lot going on, but it was pretty easy to make. Those Split Card Textures dies are awesome!
