Trusty Tools for a Teacher Card!

When I saw that pencil stamp and die in Trusty Tools, I knew this would make a great teacher card!

I wanted the background to look like a chalkboard. So, I die cut the Radiating Stitches biggest die with Crumb Cake, then cut the next size out of the middle to make a frame. With Basic Black cardstock, I used a sponge and some White ink to make it look like how most chalkboards in classrooms look!

I stamped the pencils 4 times with Memento, die cut and colored with Blends.

I wanted something for the pencils to be in, so I looked through my dies and thought one of the vases from Earthen Textures would work. I die cut once with Basic White, then once with the Real Red DSP from the Regals DSP (to make it a little sturdier).

The “A” is from Alphabet a La Mode dies. The + sign was from the middle of the weather vane die from the Hey Chuck dies. Use Adhesive Sheets on those! Makes it much easier.

The “thank you” is from Trusty Tools. I stamped with Versamark and used white embossing powder.
