Dragonflies can be used for so many cards- happy ones, celebratory, sympathy, birthday, etc.

For this one- I stamped one image in Misty Moonlight and then stamped the top layer with Versamark and embossed with silver embossing powder.

The top two are from the Dandy Garden DSP- they are the exact size of the punch!

I also used the masks on the top left and bottom right. Taped it down and used Versamark ink. I then added silver embossing powder. I have a few cards that I’ve used the masks in different ways, so I’m working on a video to show how to use those!

Simple stamping is great for stamping beginners, or for anyone! I make simple cards quite often- after making ones that take a long time and lots of steps, it’s great to make one that is done in less than 5 minutes!

Hey Chick from 4 Years Ago!

4 years ago, in January 2017, the “Hey Chick” stamp set came out as a SAB set! $50 bucks and you could get it for free! I loved it so much that after SAB was over in 2017, I kept the stamp set. When the new mini came out this year and the “Hey Birthday Chick” stamp set was in there, I knew it was “related” to the old one!

And then SU said they were rereleasing the original set AND! Matching dies for both sets. I was so excited! I took some pictures of my blog post about this card. Several things aren’t available anymore, but the most important thing- the stamp set- is! If you read the first paragraph and the last one, you will see that in February of 2017, I knew I would keep it. I did and boom! 4 years later and they’re back!

Just Want to Say… Happy Birthday!

When I had a class a few weeks ago, I was die cutting the “I Just Want to Say” on Rococo Rose paper. When I picked up the paper after die cutting, I could see the negative cutting and I liked it. I decided to make a birthday card with it.

The True Love DSP is so dang pretty. I fussy cut a few of the flowers and colored them with the Rococo Rose blends.

Happy Birthday is from the Many Messages bundle- I think everyone should have this. One stamp, one die, 19 sentiments and 4 images! All in one step!

Last, I used the Matte Black Dots in the “o” and the “a”s.
