Trees for Sale 2 Cards- one without die cutting, one with!

The Trees For Sale stamp set is so dang cute. That little dog did it for me!

BUT! The Tree Lot Dies that you can get for FREE make the stamp even better!! SAB is here! It is a FANTASTIC one!!

The card on the left is mostly stamping and the card we made at my class. The one on the right is mostly die cutting.

For my last class, I decided we would do a card with the stamps, and a little bit of the dies (the camper). If we made the card with everything die cut, everyone would need to spend the night at my house!

We stamped the trees and the signs using the Stamparatus. The green glitter washi tape is from the mini (page 57).

For the die cut card- I stamped the trees, the dogs, the lights and the posts, and the sign. Die cut all of them. Since they were die cut, I could use a different background- I used the Gingham Cottage paper from the mini catalog (page 59).

The hills were made with the Basic Borders dies.

After stamping the dog with Crumb Cake, I added some spots to him using the dark Crumb Cake Blend. (did that on the other card, too)

After die cutting the lights, instead of coloring them, I used one of my favorite things from the mini- the Pearlized Enamel Effects- page 59.

So, I think both cards are super cute, but the dies made both of them so much cutter. That camper is a rock star.

Here’s what I used on each card:

🇺🇸 Making an American Flag! 🇺🇸

Every 4th of July, I make something to honor our country’s birthday. This year, as I was making a holiday card, I die cut two of the Candy Cane dies and thought, “what about two- one Night of Navy, one Real Red, and place it on Basic White?” Boom! Red, white and blue!

After I did that, I couldn’t figure out what to place on top. I googled pictures and thought I would print one and then fussy cut it. I looked at American flags, then glanced at my desk where I saw the new Real Red & White Glimmer paper. Ding ding! I’ll make an American flag with that stuff!

It took me a while to figure out measurements, but once I made it, I was thrilled.

Here’s my video on how I made it!

Here’s a picture of how to find .15 inches on a ruler (look for the red mark):

Barn with a Lake, Trees and a Fence!

This card just makes me smile. I would love to live in place like this!

This card: every stamp and die comes from one Bundle! Christmas Barn Bundle! Page 28 of the mini catalog. One of my all-time favorites!

I stamped the barn with Soft Suede, die cut and then colored with Crumb Cake Blends. (tip: always color your images AFTER you die cut them. Nothing is worse than spending time coloring and then an error occurs when you send it through the die cut machine!)

I die cut the pond on Basic White, then colored it with the Pool Party blends. On the card base, I used Old Olive Blends on the bottom to look like grass.

I used the Balmy Blue ink with a Blending Brush first- before stamping the trees in Garden Green.

I used the Pearlized Enamel Effects Basic in red on top of the trees. This is on page 59 of the June-Dec mini catalog. I LOVE THEM!

Little Pink Houses- for you and me!

Sorry, I had to sing that song as I posted this card. If you don’t know what it is, google it. I guarantee you’ve heard it before.

Anyway… here’s another Christmas card! I decided, after making a lot of traditional cards, that I wanted to make one with bright colors.

This bundle (stamps and dies) is Sweet Gingerbread. I’ve used the dies that make the hills many many times!

I used Polished Pink (house and sentiment), Tahitian Tide (roof and heart), and Parakeet Party (hills and trees). For the swirls on the house and the lines around the door and windows, I used Versamark and white embossing powder. For the lollipops, I used Versamark and silver embossing powder. The paper behind it is one of the SAB items- Silver and Gold DSP. It’s gorgeous! The smoke coming from the chimney is the Linen paper. I stamped directly on it and then die cut. I love that you can still see the dots behind it.

Check back on 7/1- I’ll have the full list of everything used.
