I got my new stuff today! I’m so excited! Check out my video to see more!!
I made this quick video showing how I do a few things:
- Labeling the ink pads- 2 labels each ink pad!
- How to assemble Cling Stamps
- Different options for photopolymer stamps
- How I store my dies
- How to label punches
Here’s the video!
I got out the Basic Borders and started to use one on an idea I had. That didn’t work out the way I wanted but I left all the die cut paper on one of my tables. The next day, I walked in and put two of them together. Surfboard!
I wanted to show you that mistakes or unsuccessful attempts can lead to something good!
I am from Ormond Beach, Fl, which is right next to the famous Daytona Beach. I lived there until 6 years ago. I know many, many people who are surfers!
Enjoy the video!
Surfboard #2- Made in Video
Sympathy cards are hard to make. You know you’re making it for someone who is in pain and sadness. But, what’s nice about making them, is you can make them very personalized.
I made this card for a friend when her dog passed away. Max was a schnauzer. My dog, Maggie, is half schnauzer. Pampered Pets is perfect for those dogs.
I die cut one of the Scallop Counters dies and then using a Blending Brush, added the colors to make it look like a sunset sky.
All the products used are listed below.
Today is the last day to get items from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog! Here are the lists (some of the items are REALLY cheap!!). For the paper, ink, and embellishments, some will already be sold out. If you click “shop” above, you can search using the item number and you’ll see if it’s still available. If your order is less than $150, and you use this host code: 74GBV6V2 I will thank you with a little gift!
Awe, my favorite chick! I stamped him once regularly, and then reverse imaged him. Here’s the video showing how I do that:
I colored them both with Blends markers. I inked up the new Spiral Die stamp with Bermuda Bay and the Blending Brushes. There’s a couple of things on this card from the new upcoming catalog (I’ll update the product list once they go live):
- Spiral Die Stamp
- Basic Borders Dies (the hill they are standing on)
When I made this card, I thought it would be cool for a teenager. I showed it to my 15 year old and he laughed and said “those look like teenage chickens. Or surfers. Duuuuuude!” Success!
Let me know if you have any questions!
Sliders cards have been around for a long time. I used to make them all the time!
I decided I wanted to make a card with 3 sliders and have it be a “skinny” card. I had to sit down and figure out the measurements and how to make the tracks for the sliders. I put the instructions in a PDF- click on it below and it will open up the full PDF- and I will have it available under “instructions” on the right side. Once I make other slider cards that are different sizes, I will update the PDF with the measurements on those as well.
Watch the video to see how I did it!

When the Jan-June mini came out, I loved the Handsomely Suited Bundle on page 57. As you may know, I live with 4 boys (my husband and our 3 sons) and one girl (my dog Maggie!). So, I need to make man/boy cards quite a bit. This morning, I decided to stamp 3 bow ties and came up with a layout. Now when I look at the card, it may even look like the star has three bows on it. Hmm. Well, anyway, I still like this card!
The dies and stamps will be in the new Annual Catalog, but here’s the difference:
- They will not be in a bundle, so you won’t get the 10% off for the dies and stamps.
- The DSP will not be carrying over.
- The Twine will not be carrying over.
So, you have until 6/30/21 to get the bundle deal and the paper and twine if you want them! The paper is one of my favorites.
