Perfect Partners! Is it Christmas Yeti?

Ok! More Glitter paper on this card!

Another Perfect Partners Bundle or just stamps or dies. You’ve got just 3 more days until you can order! Don’t forget what I’m offering!

And here’s a link to that post:  My Offer!

First, I die cut the Storybook Gnomes DSP with the Picture This dies. As I looked at all the empty circles, I decided I wanted them to be sparkly.

So then I die cut the Tahitian Tide glitter paper with the same Picture This dies. I used all the circles to fill in the empty circles on the Gnomes DSP!

(check back soon to see what card I made with the other part of the Tahitian Tide glitter paper!)

I stamped the tree, the presents, the mountains and the bird with Sahara Sand ink. I colored them in with Blends. Then! I got to die cut them!! Because of the fabulous, while supplies last, only available until 9/30, Yeti dies!

The yeti was stamped with Balmy Blue.

The sentiment was stamped with Pacific Point and die cut with the Stylish Shapes dies.

Check back on 9/1 to see the supplies that include the dies. Here’s what I can list for now:

Ok, so to get the coupon, you need to shop with me. Here’s a link that includes a host code.

Holla with any questions!

Gnomes on Wobbles!(Craft Springs)

We made this card at my last class. LOTS of Blends coloring! It takes a while, especially when you have 6 people sharing them. But still cool! Many people changed the coloring- I love that! You never have to make my card EXACTLY how I made it!

The Wobbles (or craft springs) are really fun- here’s a link where I bought mine. I first looked on Amazon- crazy expensive. You have to be careful with Amazon!

Craft Springs

I first colored the background with Balmy Blue and Granny Apple green with the Blending Brushes.

Stamped the sentiment (from the Sweet Candy Canes stamp set) with Poppy Parade.

Colored all the Gnomes and Mushroom with Blends.

Here’s how I colored mine:

Blends (Gnomes left to right):

  • Pool Party, Poppy Parade, Bronze (for shoes), ML800 (Medium Light), So Saffron
  • Balmy Blue, Poppy Parade, Pool Party, Smoky Slate, M500 (Medium)
  • Pool Party, Balmy Blue, Smoky Slate, Poppy Parade, M600 (Medium), Bronze (for lantern), So Saffron
  • Pool Party, Poppy Parade, Bronze, D200 and D100 (Deep) for hair, ML700 (Medium Light)
  • Mushroom: Pale Papaya, Bermuda Bay

The wreath on the mushroom is one of the dies from the Santa’s Train dies. I put a few of the Fine Sparkle on top.

The lights are from the Trees for Sale stamp. Instead of coloring them in, I used the white Pearlized Enamel on each light. Let that dry for about 10 minutes!

Last thing to do is put the wobbles on!

These gnomes are so dang cute!

You’ve Put a Spell on Me! Shaker Card!

OK, I’m a little addicted to the big shaker cards. These types of cards, for me, don’t take long and look very noticeable!

I stamped the witch and the frog (from the Best Witches stamp set) about 1/2″ from the bottom. I colored the bottom with the Crumb Cake Blend marker- I didn’t want them to look like they were floating if the sequins weren’t there. The witch was stamped with Memento ink and colored with Blends: Fresh Freesia, Granny Apple Green, Bronze (for her broom), SU800 (Medium Light) for her skin tone, and MD300 (Medium Dark) for her hair. The frog was stamped with Granny Apple and colored with the light Granny Apple Blends.

Using the Stamparatus, I stamped the spiders (from the Betwitching stamp set) all across the top.

The gingham paper is from the Gingham Cottage DSP.

The sentiment is from the Best Witches stamp set. I stamped on Basic White, then used the Stylish Shapes dies to die cut.

For the sequins, I used the green from the For Everything Sequins and I also used the Sparkle & Shine Sequins.

The ribbon is the White Glittered Organdy Ribbon.

Gnomes in Snow!

I don’t make a lot of cards that have snow- I’m in Florida! We don’t get snow! But, a few cards with snow are required!

This was a card we made in my first Holiday Cards class this year. I used to have a Holiday card class every month from June-November in my home town. When we moved, I didn’t make cards for a while until about 3 years ago. I’ve had holiday classes the last 3 years, but this year I decided to try and have one a month from June-November. So far it’s working!

I die cut the gnomes and the mushroom from the DSP. The foxes I fussy cut. The background paper is also the DSP.

I die cut two pieces of Basic White cardstock with the Gingerbread dies to make the hills. After I die cut them, I thought using the Painted Texture embossing folder would make them look like snow.

After arranging all the gnomes and foxes and gluing them down, I then added some of the white Pearlized Enamel on the showing edges of the snow hills.

The sentiment is from the gnomes stamp set. I die cut it with Stylish Shape dies.

Here’s everything I used!

Candy Canes

Who doesn’t love candy canes? I know some people don’t like peppermint flavor, but they make candy canes in just about every flavor. Like the Jolly Rancher’s ones!

This card was quick. Using the dies from the Candy Cane dies, I die cut the canes from the Sweetest Christmas DSP. I love that they make DSP that can be die cut!

I then used the dies to make the background with Real Red and Basic White. I put that in front of some of the DSP.

The sentiment is from the Candy Canes stamp set. I die cut with one of the dies and then cut the bottom off to make it shorter.

I made a bow with two ribbons, attached the sentiment and voila! Card made!
